South-Africa day 1/2

Today is the day, that I will start my experience in South Africa. At 13:00h we went to Schiphol, the airport in Amsterdam. We arrived around 14:30h at the airport. The place we had to meet up was at gate 25. Then it was time to say goodbye to your family / friends and check in at the counter. After this we had to go to the customs. Once that happened we could continue our way to the plane. On the plane to Istanbul I sat next to mister Bakker (Freek), nice! We had tv's where we could watch tv programs or movies, we could listen to music and play fun games, in other words, the first fight passed quickly! On our way to Istanbul! The first footsteps in Turkey, immediately it was a lot warmer 10C. At the airport in Istanbul I thought it was a bit scary, I do not know why, but I did not feel comfortable. But our next fight was within 2 hours. Then we went through the customs again, all went well! Then on our way to the second plane to South Africa. A flight of 11 hours soo long. The flight went well, in total I slept about 5.5 hours, quite a lot, I didn’t expect this. We landed in Cape Town with a lot of turbulence, so a few people had to vomit. Some buddies were waiting for us, my buddy wasn’t there because she was at school camp with her schoolmates. Afterwards we went to Genadendal in a big school bus. Along the way we've seen a lot, the ocean, some townships, different animals, and a lot of people or in other words got quite a lot of different impressions in the first hours in South Africa.
