Today we had to give lessons at the primary school, together with Maaike b and Teun. We had to be ready at 9 am, to go to Greyton, primary school. We were going to teach grade 3, those children were about 8 years old. The lesson went well, and it was so entertaining to do. The children had to get used to us in the start, which is understandable. Because it is not common that suddenly there are three white students in your class. When the children we used to us, it was a pleasant that we could give them the lesson. In the Netherlands it isn’t common that we as students form OBC Bemmel give lessons to our primary schools. So, I think it is really special that we could give our lesson in South Africa. When the lessons were finished, we went to a cafe to drink something. A milkshake. While drinking seriously I laughed a lot. Those conversations, really, they are disappointing, but it was fun. When we arrived home, we had free time. To pack our suitcases, update our logbooks, go out for a swim, go to the supermarket etc. Later we had to meet up again because we went out to eat bobotie. I had never eaten it before, but I liked it!
