At 07: 00h the alarms went, because at 8.30am the vans went to the southernmost tip of Africa (the continent). About one and a half hours drive to the fire hours. The lighthouse was quite high, so we went up 4 steep stairs, once above the wind was blowing super hard. When everyone was downstairs we went walking to the separation of Indian and Atlantic Ocean. There the continent lay on the ground, so now I can say that I’ve walked around Africa in half a minute. Then made some pictures and after this we went to the beach. Here we got 150R per pair to eat in a small restaurant. The food was good and afterwards we did nothing on the beach, besides listening to music, laughing with each other and swimming. Oops, and I burned a little bit. Back to Genadendal, we had spotted a few animals: monkeys, ostriches, penguins, and zebras. No, not a real zebra, but I had invented that with Mr. Bakker (Freek) so that Mr. Rasing (Frans) would become jealous. Because Mr. Rasing (Frans) had seen a turtle at least that's what he said.
